New London October 15th, 1840

In pursuance of this warrant (having first given reasonable notice of the time & place of the Sale of the property within described by advertisement published in the Journal of Commerce a News Paper [sic] printed & published in the City of New York, and also by advertisement published in the New London Gazette & Advertiser a News Paper printed & published in Said New London) I this day as [said] New London aforesaid Publicly [sic] exposed all the within described property for examination, and commenced the Sale of the same at public auction, continuing from day to day, until the evening of the 17 of October instant, where the Sale was closed, having Sold all the property described in this warrant, at Public auction at an outcry to the highest bidder as follows
