Titles: Petition of Ariosa & Company
Description: This is the petition of merchants who shipped goods aboard the Amistad in 1839, and are seeking reparations in 1845. They are asking for an adequate portion of the $972.04 left unclaimed at the time of the public auction in 1840, and still retained by the Circuit Court.
