Baldwin, reviewing the Amistad case, points that had been presented before the Circuit and District Courts, and those to be presented before the Supreme Court. With others, Adams and Baldwin visit Amistad prisoners in New Haven Jail; general description of the prisoners, their circumstances, progress in learning English.
